Ms. Guerra, Head Director
Ms. Guerra is in her 6th year with Wilson and Young Choir. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from Texas Tech University. Guerra has acted as a presenter at the Texas Choral Directors Association, where she presented to choir directors around the state about the uses of centers in the choral classroom. Choirs under Ms. Guerra's direction have consistently earned Sweepstakes (the highest rating) at UIL Contest, Superior Ratings at Solo and Ensemble Contest, and has even had students sing in Carnegie Hall in New York City through the Honors Performance Series. Ms. Guerra loves to share the gift of music with young people!

Mrs. Falch, Associate Director
Justine Halamicek Falch has spent the last four years as the Head Choir Director at Killeen High School. This fall she is excited to be taking a new position at Wilson and Young Medal of Honor Middle School in Ector County ISD. Previously she has held positions at Muleshoe, Belton, and Robinson High Schools. In addition to choral conducting, she has taught AP music theory. She has held positions with children's choirs at St. John’s UMC Lubbock, First UMC Lubbock, and the Stillwater Children's Chorus in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Justine is active as a soloist, presenter, and clinician, serving as a clinician in the public schools in central and west Texas, as well as TMEA region concerts, and as a presenter at the TCDA summer and winter conferences.
Justine also maintains an active private voice studio. Students from her private studio consistently earn placement in TMEA region choirs, TMEA/TCDA state choirs, divisional and national ACDA honor choirs, earn superior ratings at Texas State Solo and Ensemble competition, as well as several outstander performer awards.
She holds a Master of Music in Choral Conducting and a Certificate in Early Music Performance Practice from Texas Tech University. Justine earned her Bachelor of Music with an emphasis in Vocal Music Education from Oklahoma State University. Her professional affiliations include ACDA, TMEA, and TCDA.
Justine lives in Odessa with her husband, Jeremy who teaches theatre at Permain HS, and their three fur children, Chloe, Lars, and Lena.
